Two senior residential management professionals for Super Prime properties

The Challenge

Knight Frank was looking to expand its Super Prime department from 2 to 4 people, requiring both a head of super prime role (Partner, Regional Relationship Manager), and an Associate-level role (Relationship Manager) that would report into them. They would be responsible for managing some of the highest-valued residential properties in London.

This presented a unique challenge – hiring the Head Of a department and quickly getting in the right person afterwards who would then report into them.

Critical to the role, the client needed individuals with excellent knowledge of super prime properties. This is a tiny portion of the market, so any outreach would need to be careful and confidential.

The Solution

As an agency with an excellent portfolio of candidates at the more senior end of the market, including those with super prime experience, we were confident in our ability to fill the role.

We initially provided the client with recommended salary bandings for the roles and a market map of available talent, speaking to them several times, before going deeper into the process with prospective candidates.

We approached both those that we knew were actively looking for roles, but also headhunted those passive in the market, that we were either already connected with or were able to build connections with at other super prime properties. These were discussed in detail with the client, with 10 making the original shortlist and 6 interviewing with the client across both roles combined.
