About the Role
Senior Quantity Surveyor | Liverpool
Cobalt have partnered with a great consultancy side client who are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage large-scale and complex projects from inception to completion. As a key member of the cost management team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service, developing junior colleagues, and contributing to business growth.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading cost management on multi-million-pound projects.
- Producing high-level feasibility studies, cost estimates, and cost plans.
- Managing procurement, tender processes, and contract negotiations.
- Providing expert cost control and financial reporting throughout project lifecycles.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring the highest standards of professional service.
- Supporting the growth of the cost management team and mentoring junior staff.
- Contributing to business development, winning repeat and new work.
What We're Looking For
- MRICS qualified with a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Proven experience working on complex, high-value projects across various sectors.
- Strong commercial awareness, negotiation skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships.
- A team player with a proactive mindset, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering excellence.
