Senior Project Manager

Cobalt is working with a leading construction company to recruit a Senior Project Manager to oversee and deliver key projects across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to drive projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

The Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Leading project teams, assigning responsibilities, and ensuring clear management structures.
• Managing designers, producing information schedules, and ensuring effective communication.
• Overseeing procurement of materials, plant, and subcontractors to meet project targets.
• Ensuring all work complies with health, safety, and environmental legislation.
• Conducting site inspections and addressing any safety or quality concerns.
• Monitoring progress, holding regular project meetings, and developing strategies for successful delivery.
• Managing client expectations, resolving queries, and developing long-term relationships.
• Maintaining project documentation and ensuring company procedures are followed.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience in project management within the construction sector.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to oversee complex project planning and execution.
• Excellent understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Experience with budget management and cost control.
• Strong stakeholder management and client liaison skills.
• Familiarity with BIM and digital project management tools.
