A specialist firm are expanding across the UK and looking for a key future leader of this office.
As a Senior, Principal or Associate Town Planner, you will be at the forefront of planning in Bristol. You will take on a pivotal role in shaping the city's future, working on exciting projects from concept to completion. This position offers excellent opportunities for career progression and the chance to collaborate on high-impact, city-defining initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to planning applications and appeals.
- Engage with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.
- Promote sites through Local Plans and provide strategic advice on major urban extensions.
- Provide expert advice on planning policies and regulations.
- Manage projects timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Mentor and guide junior team members.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum four years of experience in town planning.
- MRTPI qualification is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of the residential planning landscape.
- Proven track record of successful planning rack record.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Ambitious, proactive, and passionate about urban and rural planning.
