About the Role

Our client is a successful national planning and development-led property consultancy, with a large team of professionals in cities across the UK. With hundreds of professional staff across different cities, and a large successful multidisciplinary in Manchester across sectors, this team is looking for a lead, to manage existing team members and work collaboratively with the London Directors, giving consultancy advice in general for major developments for the public and private sectors.

 

You will be working on a mix of work across economics and socio-economics, including funding bids and business-case making, property market analysis, economic strategy and masterplanning, social value work and data visualization work. Examples of projects you would be working on include: funding bids for Investment Plans, future city Markets Studies, and Development and Infrastructure Investment Frameworks - looking at strategy and vision.

 

Your will:

· Support the Head of the UK and manage the regional team.

· Lead on business development, marketing and bids to secure new work, as well as account manage and grow existing client-base through networking and attending industry events.

· Look at broader issues related to Economic Development and "big picture thinking".

· Deliver projects, manage and delegate work, and work with cross-sector colleagues.

· Keep up to date with changes in policy and market trends.

· Put cases together for Economic Impact Assessment, HMT Green Book business cases, and funding bids.

 

You will ideally:

· Have a notable history and name within the Economic field, anywhere across the UK.

· Have team management and P&L management experience.

· Be a good team player, and ambition to lead an industry-leading team.

· Have excellent communication, written, numerical and data analytics skills.
