About the Role

Commercial Property Manager
Cobalt Recruitment is delighted to represent a substantial, privately-owned property investment and asset management company with an extensive commercial real estate portfolio across the UK. As part of their ambitious growth plans, a fantastic opportunity has arisen to join their in-house team and deliver professional property management services.

Responsibilities;

This hands-on position encompasses all aspects of property management, with a strong focus on service charge budgeting and collection. Collaborating closely with Senior Property Managers, Asset Managers, and Facilities Managers, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Progressing licenses for lease assignments, sublets, and alterations.
  • Liaising with Building Surveyors, Facilities Managers, solicitors, and on-site personnel.
  • Managing landlord and tenant requests.
  • Reading and interpreting leases accurately.
  • Reporting to clients and supporting Asset Managers with strategic advice.
  • Assessing rents, income flows, and yields.
  • Inspecting commercial properties and providing asset management recommendations.

About You;

The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in managing multi-let property portfolios, with a strong understanding of service charge budgeting and management. We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a similar role, ideally MRICS qualified.
  • Skills: Excellent IT proficiency and the ability to interpret complex leases.
  • Essentials: A valid driving license and a proactive, hands-on approach.
