About the Role

Our client, a leading property consultancy, is looking to recruit into their Residential Development team in Kent as their workload continues to grow. They mostly operate in an agency capacity, but some consultancy work is also required. Currently, they have lots of clients including PLCs and SMEs and are keen to add another well-networked individual to the team to grow their pipeline and client-base.

 

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Win new work with existing and new contact base
  • Lead on acquisition and disposal of immediate and strategic land sites
  • Research and produce strategic property reports such as development appraisals, strategic advice and marketing strategies
  • Keep up to date with changes in Local Plans and the opportunities that this could lead to.
  • Support junior personnel where needed with their career development.
  • Assist in delivering financial performance in line with your/team budgets.

 

Ideally you will:

  • Be MRICS qualified
  • Previous experience in the same or similar level within the sector
  • Excellent Negotiation skills
  • Experienced in, negotiations, valuations, appraisals, development/planning viability and feasibility
  • Strong residential development consultancy experience
  • Have client engagement and a black book of contacts
  • Strong property understanding across the wider sector including planning
  • Be an excellent communicator with good technical and writing skills
