About the Role

Cobalt are partnered with a successful developer who are seeking someone to lead on their community engagement work for their large scale project. Based in Central London, but also having offices in North London, you will be working in collaboration with the design and delivery team to ensure community involvement, brand development and stakeholder engagement.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships within local communities, key organisations and stakeholders
  • Lead engagement and communication strategies to support planning and delivery
  • Support the development of community infrastructure e.g: school, sports or healthcare facilities
  • Organise consultation events, manage PR, media relations and marketing strategies including social media
  • Innovate and improve communication/partnerships approaches
  • Foster cohesion between existing and new communities

Requirements

  • Previous experience in community engagement, partnerships, PR or marketing
  • Understanding of development, planning and public service delivery
  • Strong communication skills, especially relationship-building and conflict resolution
  • Ability to work under pressure
