Asset Management Analyst - Client Side

Cobalt is delighted to be supporting a Global Real Estate Investment Manager with the appointment of an Asset Management Analyst, based in the West End.

Our client specialises in the BtR sector and has billions of AUM across EMEA and the wider UK. They are looking to grow their Asset Management and Investment team due to new pending acquisitions, alongside further forecasted growth opportunities in the investment pipeline.

This role is ideal for an individual with at least 1 year of experience within Financial Asset Management or Investment that is seeking autonomy and clear career progression within an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Taking proactive ownership of asset level analysis, cash flow modelling and financial appraisals. This will include working actively with the Asset Managers to model new acquisition opportunities.
• As part of the monitoring, you will be responsible for reporting performance to lenders, investors and management. This includes required periodic reporting as well as ad hoc requests.
• Analysing data such as key portfolio metrics. Examples include leasing activity, voids and occupancy rates.

Key requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in Asset Management or Investment.
• Strong proficiency in building financial models from scratch using Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of Asset Management and analysing key portfolio metrics to drive value out of a portfolio.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• High degree of organisation skills.

Salary £45,000 - £55,000 + discretionary bonus + benefits (DOE)

Role is 5 days a week in the office.
