Town Planner to Associate Town Planner - Central Manchester

£33-60k + package

Cobalt are proud to be partnered with a top planning consultancy team in Central Manchester, who are growing significantly and keen to find an ambitious and motivated Planner, Senior and Associate Town Planner to lead projects and help mentor their junior team members. Ideally a current MRTPI Planner looking to step up to Senior, or a Senior, Principal or Associate finding your current role or team to not be the right home for you, you will have a chance to work on some of the city and region's most impressive upcoming schemes.

Uniquely, they do not need someone to immediately get involved in business development as they are turning so much work away. With an experienced and well-established team where you will feel like you are part of a successful fold who are fostering a brilliant place to work and grow your career.

Based in a brand new dog-friendly office in the city centre, the team work across a mix of urban and rural surroundings. Schemes include industrial investment funds, mixed-use schemes, hotels, schools, major strategic land developments and logistics parks.

Your role will involve:

·Providing strategic planning advice and preparing/submitting major planning applications.

·Manage/deepen existing key relationships.

·Leading client and design team meetings, and collaborating with multidisciplinary colleagues.

·Project management and budgetary controls on projects.

·Supporting more junior members of staff.

Ideally you will:

·Have a sound knowledge and good experience in town planning in the UK and have managed some medium-scale schemes at least.

·Have excellent communication and written skills.

·Have some track record in business development.

·Have a 'can do' attitude and be a team player.

·Enjoy networking events and representing the company

This is an unrivaled opportunity to make a real mark in your career.

Please get in touch with me (Sarah) to discuss and understand more about the role. If you do not hear back within two weeks, please assume that your application has been unsuccessful, but we will retain your details on file for future roles.
