Cobalt is working exclusively with a successful development advisory team, who work within a market-leading property consultancy, from their Central London office. With an ever-increasing pipeline of work, plans for future succession, and a desire to bring in more experienced Surveyors to lead on projects, we are searching for someone new to bring diverse perspectives onto their projects. The team service clients nationally, with some of their projects being on behalf of major PLC and blue-chip clients, and others with JVs and public sector organisations. The work this team do includes: general development consultancy advice, affordable housing and viability advice, feasibility studies, analysis, development agency and residential valuations.

If you are seeking something new, we would love to speak to you, to tell you more about the projects and this team. You will get the opportunity to work with some industry-leading Directors, as well as collaborate with impressive cross-team colleagues.

Your responsibilities will include:

·Working on development consultancy across the public and private sectors

·Working on projects often within the residential-led and mixed-use space

·Undertaking development appraisals and financial modelling

·Undertaking S106 negotiations and affordable housing advice

·Providing valuations advice

·Preparing business cases

·Preparing fee proposals and tenders

·Liaising with clients and other consultants, such as planners and architects

Ideally you will:

·Be MRICS (or equivalent)

·Have experience within a consultancy environment, and a development and/or valuations team, although local authority and client side will be considered

·Be adept at using Argus and Excel

·Strong property understanding across the wider sector including planning

·Be an excellent communicator with good technical and writing skills
