Senior Investment and Development Associate

Cobalt is delighted to be partnering exclusively with an industry leading, property consultancy firm in the West End. Our client is experiencing exponential growth with investment mandates and is seeking to add to their close-knit team by hiring a Senior Development and Investment Associate to assist with appraisals and transactions.

Role responsibilities include:

·Produce sophisticated appraisals with use of Excel to comprehensively underwrite investment and development opportunities.

·Produce investment memos to clearly articulate the commercial strength of development opportunities.

·Partner both internally and externally to communicate opportunistic value add opportunities to schemes.

·Work directly with the Director to visit sites and interact directly with developers and vendors, utilising your property expertise fully.

Key skills required:

·Established experience and knowledge within property/surveying.

·Financially astute - able to produce development appraisals using Excel.

·A firm understanding of the London and home-counties property market.

·MRICS qualification would be beneficial, but not essential.

·An understanding of the urban mixed-use, and/or residential market would be beneficial.
