Senior Financial Analysis Lead

Position Title: Financial Forecasting & Analysis Team Leader

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Salary: £100,000 - £150,000 tax free

ROLE OVERVIEW

A prominent investment firm based in Abu Dhabi, are recruiting for a Forecasting & Analysis Team Leader to help run their financial forecasting team. If you are ACA/ACCA and CFA L3 qualified, with at least 8 years of liquidity and portfolio analysis experience then this role is a great opportunity for you to relocate and broaden your skillset across a range of asset classes.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting you will be responsible for:

  • Conduct in-depth financial and liquidity analysis considering various scenarios and market conditions

  • Perform macroeconomic analysis to identify factors impacting the portfolio

  • Work with investment teams to understand performance drivers and risks associated with different asset classes

  • Monitor and assess the impact of regulatory changes and market trends on liquidity and investment strategies

  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast liquidity

  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on portfolio performance, liquidity analysis, and investment recommendations

  • Identify and implement processes to increase efficiency within the department

EXPERIENCE & CHARACTERISTICS

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)

  • CFA L3 qualified

  • Business-related degree from a top university (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Maths)

  • A minimum of 8-12 years' experience in financial and investment analysis

  • Proven track record with large multi-asset classes and liquidity management

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Extensive excel and modelling experience (DCF, WACC, NAV)

  • Strong leadership and team management experience
