OVERVIEW
A commercial real estate investment management firm are currently searching for a Financial Controller to join their team based in the City of London. This role presents a great opportunity to develop your career and play a leading role in the management of the company's finances.
Position Title: Financial Controller
Location: City of London
Salary: £75,000 - £95,000
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
The main roles of the Financial Controller will be to:
Produce and consolidate financial reports and statutory financial statements under UK GAAP (FRS102) and local GAAP.
Oversee cash management, including invoicing, payments, and cash flow forecasting.
Manage annual group audits and liaise with auditors and tax advisors for regulatory reporting.
Develop and support the finance team, ensuring effective training and daily management.
Support IT and accounting system projects, and handle ad hoc initiatives from senior management.
Act as the key finance contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring robust financial systems and processes.
EXPERIENCE & CHARACTERISTICS
Qualified accountant from a top 40 firm (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CFA)
Business-related degree (Finance, Accounting, Economics Maths)
Ideally strong experience within commercial real estate
Strong leadership and team management experience
