Planner - Senior Planner

An opportunity to join an established multi-disciplinary as a Town Planner in their new Manchester team is waiting for your application!

With a mix of Public and Private sector clients, this is a role that offers a diverse portfolio to get stuck into from day 1.

This client is looking for a Planner with a few year's experience, ready to step up to Senior Planner, and with this being an addition to the new team, there's scope for input and progression as you build your network across the North West Planning scene.

The role will involve:

• Preparing and submitting Major Planning Applications

• Preparation and submission of Local Plan Representations and Site Promotion

• Providing Planning advice for clients on a variety of matters

• Working collaboratively with other business areas.

• Negotiations with local authorities and stakeholders on behalf of clients

• Supporting at public inquiry appeals

The ideal candidate will already have experience in a similar role, wither within a consultancy or Local Authority. You will be able to work independently and proactively, and manage projects. A local knowledge is preferred.

This is an urgent requirement and so will be a 1 stage interview process.
