OVERVIEW
A leading PE backed accounting and corporate services firm are going through a strong period of growth and are looking for an Associate Director to help expand their Corporate Services team.
Aiding on deal sizes ranging from £10m - £15m, across a range of industries, this role offers the opportunity to join at the team at the early stages of growth, therefore offering strong long term career prospects.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
The main roles of the AD will be to:
Lead the execution of M&A transactions, including both buy-side and sell-side transactions
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
Oversee and conduct financial analysis and due diligence for potential transactions
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop business strategies and identify new opportunities
Mentor and manage junior team members
Implement processes and procedures to enable transaction to succeed smoothly and efficiently
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards
EXPERIENCE & CHARACTERISTICS
Qualified accountant from a top 40 firm (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CFA)
Business-related degree (Finance, Accounting, Economics Maths)
Additional industry specific qualifications are advantageous
A minimum of 5 years' experience leading M&A teams within corporate finance
Proven track record leading and closing M&A transactions
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Extensive excel and modelling experience
Strong leadership and team management experience
