Finance Director

£90,000 - £95,000

Hybrid, Central London

We partnered with a leading property management company looking for a Finance Director. In their portfolio they have multi-billions of AUM across the UK and overseas.

This is an exciting role with a wide scope, including simple but high-volume transactional deliverables as well as managing the General Ledger, the financial accounts and the production of the monthly management accounts, along with managing the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the general ledger and banking operations
  • Prepare accurate financial statements and oversee audit procedures
  • Ensure compliance with VAT and tax regulations, along with external reporting requirements
  • Handle month-end account closures and overhead expense allocations
  • Implement financial control processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Conduct internal finance audits and assist with financial planning and analysis
  • Develop cash flow forecasts and manage cash effectively
  • Administer bonus and profit share distributions, and prepare annual budgets
  • Forecast profit and loss and balance sheet projections, including scenario analysis
  • Lead accounts management, banking, cash management, and payment processing
  • Assist with the year-end charity audit
  • Manage accounts receivable including invoice generation and cash allocation for received payments
  • Oversee accounts payable, ensuring timely payments of invoices and expenses, and conducting credit card reconciliations
  • Overview group payroll

Key requirements:

  • Accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, including UK GAAP & IFRS
  • Experienced in preparing statutory and management accounts as well as P&L, cashflow and balance sheet, audit processes, tax regulations, including VAT, and service charges
  • Experience in managing a team
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Proficient in finance systems
