Job Title: Lettings Assistant
Reporting to: Head of Lettings and Credit Control
Location: Manchester, UK (Hybrid: Manchester Office and Remote Working)
Salary: £23,400 per annum

You will play a key role in delivering an exceptional experience to our customers and applicants, contributing to the company's ambitious growth plans.
Job Outline
As a Lettings Administrator, you will play a vital role in the Lettings Team by efficiently managing the applicant journey from inquiry to reservation. You will be a proactive, organized individual capable of working both independently and under the direction of the Lettings Team Leader. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities
Handle all property letting inquiries and manage the applicant database.
Follow up on leads, schedule viewings, and assist customers with their inquiries about properties and the application process.
Ensure thorough communication with applicants and other general inquiries.
Stay informed about the property market and ensure compliance with current legislation, including 'Right to Rent' and the Tenant Fees Act 2019.
Provide administrative support to the Lettings Team and assist with processing applications.
Assess applicants in line with company procedures and criteria.
Take payments, process them accordingly, and assist in handling complaints as per company procedures.
Conduct property viewings and assist with launch events as needed.
Proactively identify opportunities in the lettings market to benefit the company.
Ensure full compliance with the company's letting procedures and applicant journey.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
Industry-specific knowledge with relevant qualifications or willingness to obtain them.
Understanding of the Tenant Fees Act 2019 and Right to Rent obligations.
IT literacy and proficiency in relevant software.
A team player who contributes positively to team spirit across all disciplines.
Motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage your own workload.
