Cobalt is partnering with a leading provider of residential build-to-rent properties, dedicated to creating safe and sustainable living environments for their residents. We are seeking a skilled and proactive Health & Safety Manager to join a growing team and ensure the highest standards of health and safety across your property portfolio.

Role Overview:

As the Health & Safety Manager, you will deliver a proactive health and safety service across a London-wide cluster of residential build-to-rent properties. You will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety policies and practices, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures across all properties.

  • Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.

  • Provide expert advice and training to staff and contractors on health and safety matters.

  • Investigate incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

  • Collaborate with property management teams to promote a culture of safety and awareness.

  • Keep up-to-date with changes in legislation and best practices, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Health & Safety Manager, preferably within the residential property or wider real estate knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices including the Building Safety Act

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • NEBOSH General/Fire or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
