Fund Accountant

£40,000 - £45,000 + bonus & Study Support

We are currently partnering with a professional services businesses focusing on real estate funds in their search for a Fund Accountant to join their team in London, in a newly created role as a result of their significant growth.

The successful candidate will be working as part of a team, reporting directly to senior management and be responsible for the controlling and reporting of a billion-pound fund dealing with a variety of stakeholders.

Responsibilities will include:

• Fund accounting and trial balance maintenance in accounting system

• Preparation of asset and portfolio business plan

• Investment valuations

• Quarterly and Annual Financial Statements and Investor Reports

• Production of SPV consolidated financial statements

• Ad hoc project work to assist the business

• Setting up appropriate reporting protocols for portfolio companies

Key requirements for this role:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification

• Previous Fund Accounting experience, ideally within a Private Equity firm

• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS

• Good commercial understanding of the industry

• Consolidation and multi-jurisdictional reporting experience

• Strong stakeholder management experience

• Advanced Excel skills
