Customer Service Associate

Cobalt have been contracted by a leading business in the living sectors, who are looking to add to their customer service team.

This position plays a key role in leasing new homes for the business by serving as the initial point of contact to deliver an exceptional first impression and customer experience. Additionally, it supports the onsite lettings teams in remotely leasing units.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers, delivering accurate and informed details about available rental homes.
  • Handle and respond promptly to inquiries from various channels.
  • Accurately log all inquiries into the CRM system in a timely manner.
  • Qualify leads based on the business's applicant criteria.
  • Build strong connections with customers, preparing them for a seamless handover to the onsite resident services team for viewings.
  • Schedule and confirm viewings with customers and relevant team members.
  • Provide support for remote viewings as needed.
  • Utilize the applicant database to make phone inquiries, aiming to convert prospects into leads.
  • Stay fully informed about the business's key updates, developments, delivery timelines, and pricing to confidently address customer questions.

Requirements:

  • A strong customer focus with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
  • Exceptional listening, communication, and rapport-building abilities.
  • Proficiency in IT, with experience using Outlook, Word, and Excel, and the ability to quickly adapt to new software systems.
  • Highly motivated, flexible, proactive, and adaptable to change.

Working hours: The role requires working 9-5, five days per week, with some Saturdays included on a rota basis.
