About the Role

Cobalt Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a market-leading property company in their search for a Technical Services Manager to oversee a prestigious, multi-building commercial estate in the City of London.

This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing team and take ownership of the technical delivery across a number of Grade A office buildings, home to some of the most recognised corporate occupiers in the capital.

The successful candidate will act as the technical lead across the estate, ensuring all building services are maintained to the highest standard, while delivering a safe, efficient and compliant environment for tenants and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all M&E systems across the estate, ensuring full compliance with statutory regulations and best practice.

  • Manage PPM and reactive maintenance regimes, working closely with service providers to drive high performance and value for money.

  • Lead on sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency projects across the buildings.

  • Support mobilisation of new plant or systems and contribute to long-term asset planning and lifecycle works.

  • Build strong working relationships with occupiers, consultants, and internal teams, acting as a trusted technical advisor.

  • Monitor performance against SLAs and KPIs, ensuring consistent delivery of high service standards.

  • Ensure robust H&S practices are in place, including risk assessments, audits, and contractor management.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a similar Technical Services Manager or Engineering Manager role within a commercial property environment.

  • Strong understanding of building services, ideally with an electrical or mechanical bias.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with a client-focused approach.

  • Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND, Degree, or equivalent in Engineering or Building Services).

  • IOSH/NEBOSH and knowledge of statutory compliance in a property setting.

  • Experience working across multi-building estates or complex sites is highly desirable.

This is a standout opportunity to join a respected property brand and play a key role in the management of one of London's most impressive commercial estates.
