About the Role

We are partnered with one of London's leading residential developers, who are looking for an ambitious and well-connected Senior Land Manager to join their Central London team.

They are seeking someone who has a track record of acquiring sites across the Capital, to join this busy team, seeking sites of 100 to 1000 units. This role is mostly acquisition-focused, although they also are also progressing some sites through planning, while passing others onto development colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate development opportunities in line with acquisition criteria, including preparing appraisals, cashflows, and site valuations.
  • Collaborate with consultants, architects, and design teams to assess planning feasibility and create early-stage development plans.
  • Conduct market research and analyse technical reports to advise on sales revenues, product mix, and development constraints.
  • Negotiate land deals, legal contracts, and present land opportunities to the Board.
  • Manage relationships with property agents, consultants, and landowners, while promoting a diverse, inclusive environment.
  • Stay updated on policy changes and ensure future developments meet compliance standards.
  • Mentor junior team members, collaborate across departments, and lead with commercial awareness and integrity.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Proven track record in land deals for residential developments in London, with expertise in planning, legal, technical, and financial aspects.
  • Established network of key industry contacts and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Track record in acquiring sites via a variety of means, including unconditional, STP or option agreements.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail, along with a valid driving license.
