About the Role
Cobalt is proud to be partnering with a prestigious residential developer in their search for a Facilities Manager to oversee a flagship residential development in West London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-end brand that prides itself on delivering exceptional living environments and premium customer experience.
As Facilities Manager, you will take full ownership of all aspects of the site's hard FM services, with a particular emphasis on M&E and technical operations, ensuring all plant, equipment, and infrastructure is maintained to the highest standard. At the same time, you'll play a key role in delivering first-class service to residents, working closely with on-site teams and third-party contractors to maintain the overall quality of the development.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all technical services on site, including planned and reactive maintenance.
Lead on M&E systems, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Oversee service charge budgets and support with procurement of service contracts.
Manage contractor performance, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective delivery.
Work collaboratively with Concierge and Estate teams to ensure seamless resident experience.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits, reporting on performance and areas for improvement.
Support mobilisation of new units or phases as required.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in a Facilities Manager or similar role, ideally within residential or mixed-use developments.
Strong technical/M&E knowledge, with relevant qualifications (e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH, or engineering background).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Resident-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional service standards.
