About the Role
Our client, a privately owned property company is looking for an additional Facilities Manager to join their already established facilities team based in Cheshire.
This is a multi-site role where you will be managing 10-15 mixed-use commercial properties across the Greater Manchester and Cheshire area.
In this role you will have complete autonomy over your diary where you can coordinate your own schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting into the Director of Facilities
- Leading on Health & Safety for your sites, making sure that all the buildings have up to date risk assessments for Water/Fire/Asbestos/Health and Safety.
- Making sure any hazards highlighted in these risk assessments are addressed or have a trail for any outstanding issues.
- Undertake weekly inspections of each of the properties to report and address further health and safety items.
- Report all issues to the site surveyor.
- Provide ideas and initiatives to the site that may enhance the properties.
- Mange all contractors but keeping up with KPI's.
- Inspect work of contractors and keep daily interactions with them.
- Ensure up to date contracts are in place for all services with accurate costings and specification of works.
- Have control over budgets while also proving and presenting the draft budget to site surveyors in a timely manner.
- Ensure all statutory compliance works are carried out with the relevant documentation in place.
- Ensure all administration is in order and be a point of contact for all tenants and contractors.
- Raise and place orders with contractors for planned and reactive works.
- Ensure relevant H&S documentation is in place and certified by the H&S department prior to any works being carried out.
- Code and authorise all invoices relating to works on your properties.
- Liaise with all building managers at the sites to make sure the buildings are running smoothly
- Overseeing projects and working with the tenants to orchestrate these works.
