Associate/VP - IB

Key Responsibilities:

• Transaction Execution: Play a key role in executing a range of mandates, from M&A to capital raising (debt and equity), across our core real estate sectors: Residential, Healthcare, Hospitality, Digital Infrastructure, and Operational Real Estate Asset Classes.
• Mandate Support: Provide support on current live transactions.
• Deal Structuring & Documentation: Assist in the structuring and documentation of complex transactions, including equity raises, debt financing, and joint ventures.
• Client Interaction: Work closely with clients, investors, and advisors to ensure effective communication and smooth transaction processes.
• Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market analysis, due diligence, and valuation work for various real estate sectors.
• Team Collaboration: Work in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with Analysts, VPs, MDs, and other real estate and sector specialists across tha Bank's international network.
• Support Senior Leadership: Provide support to senior team members in managing and executing transactions, ensuring high standards of quality and timely execution.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: Associate or VP in investment banking, private equity, or a similar real estate advisory role, with a proven track record in M&A, capital raising, debt advisory or real estate transactions.
• Sector Knowledge: Strong understanding of the real estate sector.
• Deal Experience: Experience in executing large-scale transactions, including equity raises, debt financing, and M&A deals, ideally within the real estate or related industries.
• Technical Skills: Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial analysis tools.
• Client Management: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with senior clients, investors, and stakeholders.

Team Structure & Support:

The core UK RE team consists of two Analysts, a VP, an MD, and the Head of Real Estate. You will be supported by a wider team of 25+ professionals specializing in Healthcare, Consumer, Tech, and Debt Advisory. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our international real estate colleagues across Europe, which includes a dedicated team of 20+ real estate professionals and over 300 bankers across the continent.
