Accountant (English & French or German speaking)

Cobalt are partnered with a fantastic real estate business who are growing rapidly and looking to expand their corporate accounting teams. They are looking for English and either French or German billingual candidates.

Duties will include:

• Take care of day to day accounting
• Assist in preparation of VAT returns.
• Ensure accurate recording of all local, IFRS and Group GAAP adjustments.
• Assist with consolidations and sub-consolidations.
• Prepare stand-alone and consolidated financial statements.
• Provide intercompany reconciliations and regular intercompany settlements where applicable.
• Liaise with Treasury team to help ensuring adequate and consistent funding within the different structures
• Liaise with property managers and review numbers, information provided on a regular basis
• Perform consistency checks to support providing accurate information

Profile:

• University degree in Accounting/Finance (ACCA is an asset)
• Min 2 years of work experience in a similar field
• Real estate / Property Accounting exposure needed
• Good knowledge of Lux GAAP (IFRS considered as an asset)
• Fluent in English and good command of French AND/OR German
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
