Maintenance Operative

Cobalt is on the lookout for a Maintenance Operative to work for a company with aggressive growth plans for 2024 in the residential sector. They are looking for someone to join their well-established team in Reading.

Managing the maintenance of a vibrant residential block, the Maintenance Operative will enjoy the responsibility of ensuring the living quarters are maintained to a top standard.

An internal promotion within the company has presented this outstanding opportunity for a skilled Maintenance person to join a reputable and well-renowned property management team.

Key responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:

• Painting, decorating, and providing basic plumbing support where needed

• Ensuring planned, preventative, and proactive maintenance work is carried out

• Liaise with on-site contractors to ensure work is done to the appropriate standard

• Contribute to the delivery of KPIs in line with the property and business

• Carry out planned inspections of site areas while recording information on time

Candidates for this role would ideally be from a trade background (electrical, carpentry, plumbing) within a customer-facing environment such as hospitality, or the residential sector previously.
