This role will see you joining the established team, working alongside another Building Maintenance Engineer and a team of General Managers across a cluster of these office buildings, with a base of operations at one of their award winning buildings in the City of London.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance, ensuring timely task completion.

  • Respond to plant breakdowns and assist in completing PPM schedules.

  • Test life safety systems weekly to ensure operational compliance, conducting water hygiene checks and other PPM tasks to ensure safety.

  • Perform basic electrical tasks as per qualifications.

  • Carry out minor installations and repairs, including common area maintenance.

  • Maintain accurate records to ensure statutory compliance.

  • Supervise sub-contractors and report issues to the building manager.

  • Assist in planning and managing maintenance schedules for efficient PPM delivery.

  • Build positive relationships with occupiers and stakeholders.

  • Ensure Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality compliance, including Permit to Work adherence.

As the successful applicant, you will ideally have worked within a customer-facing environment previously such as within Real Estate or Hospitality, as well as possessing relevant qualifications in mechanical or electrical (C&G etc) - whilst knowledge of water hygiene and COSHH is also strongly desirable.
