Role Overview
Cobalt is delighted to be partnering with a well-respected Global Institution with a heavy presence within the UK. The successful candidate will lead the development and enhancement of technology solutions for the credit and lending business lines. You will work closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, technology teams, and external vendors, to ensure the technology platforms meet the evolving needs of the business and support the businesses growth objectives.
Role Responsibilities
Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for the credit and lending technology platforms
Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand their needs, and ensure alignment with business goals
Create, prioritise, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with the product strategy and business priorities
Define and detail product features and functionalities, working closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation
Lead the product development process using Agile methodologies, facilitating sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Manage relationships with external technology vendors, ensuring they deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget
Role Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certification is a plus
Experience in product management or a related role within the financial services industry, preferably in credit or lending
Strong understanding of technology platforms, software development processes, and Agile methodologies
Passion for delivering high-quality products that meet the needs of internal and external customers
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
