Customer Service Advisor - Residential
Location: Bermondsey, London
Salary: Up to £27,500
Reports to: Residence Manager
Hours: Full-time/Part-time

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
Be the first point of contact for students
Build relationships and understand student needs
Respond to enquiries via email, phone, face-to-face, and apps
Support students and direct them to relevant wellbeing services
Address and resolve student requests and complaints
Sales and Marketing
Manage sales pipeline from initial contact to check-in
Customize booking approaches and follow up on leads
Maintain records using Hubspot
Conduct property tours and assist in promotional events
Create content for social media and prepare tenant documentation
Administration
Handle general administrative tasks (phones, emails, filing)
Liaise with partners and stakeholders
Ensure high property presentation standards
Manage debt and tenancy processes
Safety and Compliance
Conduct property inspections
Prioritize maintenance requests
Ensure compliance with building codes and health regulations
Key Skills and Capabilities
Quick problem-solving and creative thinking
Strong sales conversion focus
Dynamic and confident in supporting students
Passionate about meeting service standards
Excellent time management and multitasking
Strong communication skills in English (written and oral)
Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
Experience and Knowledge
Essential:
Customer-facing or administrative experience
Teamworking and customer service skills
Proactive with strong problem-solving abilities
Highly organized and adaptable
Desirable:
Experience in student accommodation
Experience working independently
Intermediate MS Office and CRM software skills
