Our client is seeking a Bank Reconciliation Analyst to join their team. The goal is to identify errors and detect any unusual or irregular payments in transaction records, ensuring the business has a precise and up-to-date understanding of its bank balances at all times. This approach minimises risk and enhances efficiency by enforcing proper controls and procedures.
This role works 9 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday, and offers 2 days working from home.
This leading real estate business manages a diverse portfolio of assets, from unique residential properties to iconic retail spaces you will be working across many impressive portfolios and properties.
Duties:
Perform daily reconciliations of assigned company bank accounts.
Reconcile inter-account fund movements daily.
Investigate and document unmatched items, collaborating with Finance colleagues.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of reconciliation activities.
Maintain and refine rule sets for automated reconciliations within the reconciliation tool.
Prepare manual reconciliations for bank accounts outside the reconciliation system, investigating any discrepancies.
Reconcile suspense accounts, coordinating with global payment teams to resolve outstanding items.
Monitor Treasury and client-segregated bookings, addressing discrepancies with Business Operations and Client Asset Management promptly.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and clarifications.
Keep process documentation up to date and ensure compliance with defined policies and procedures.
Person specification:
Great experience in service charge bank reconciliation.
Advanced Excel user.
Detail-oriented and energetic.
