£55,000 - £65,000 per annum + negotiable, benefits, bonus

Are you looking for that new challenge or the opportunity to accelerate your career in a collaborative team, with a very healthy pipeline of renewable projects in the infrastructure sector? I am working closely with a well-established national consultancy in London, looking for someone to join at Associate level.

With an increasing pipeline of work, although preferred you will not be required to bring business for the role and will be offered great exposure to an enviable roster of clients to further your development.

This close-knit team have delivered on flagship projects across the country with a reputation for maintaining standards of excellence.

You will be involved in (among other responsibilities):

  • Leading on DCO projects, assisting in delegating and starting to take on leadership role

  • Continuing to maintain relationships with clients in providing accurate advice and communicating effectively

  • Dealing with pre-apps and manage planning applications through the development process

  • Communicating and negotiating with clients, stakeholders and local regularly

  • Business development and working up your own client base, or bringing your own

  • Attending meetings for Planning Committee, Consultations and similar events in representation of both the Company and clients through the planning process

  • Mentoring and helping to manage junior team members

You will ideally:

  • Have at least five years within planning - ideally in consultancy

  • Strong development management skillset and expertise

  • Be MRTPI or equivalent

  • Be a strong communicator with excellent written work

  • A track record of working within planning within London
