Cobalt are partnered with one of Europe's leading real estate businesses, who are looking for a assistant finance manager focused on the tax side.

Main Responsibilities (including but are not limited to):

Overall tax compliance (Luxembourg and other regions)

· Preparation, review and filing of Luxembourg CIT and VAT returns;

· Review of German and UK VAT Returns;

· Review of Transfer Pricing study reports;

· Coordination of overall tax compliance across Europe;

· Communication with local service providers;

Other compliance (Luxembourg and other regions)

· Coordination of overall non-tax compliance across Europe including:

- Central bank reporting;

- Statistical reporting;

- Transaction reporting;

- Country by Country reporting ;

- Other.

· Communication with local service providers

Financial Accounting

· Assistance in preparation of monthly reporting in Logicor GAAP/IFRS ;

· Review of accruals and provisions;

· Intercompany reconciliations and advise administration department on intercompany settlements where applicable;

· Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliation;

Administration & General

· Assistance in preparation of periodical VAT and CIT returns for relevant jurisdictions;

· Assistance with preparation of monthly cash flows;

· Assistance with preparation of the monthly management reports;

· Assistance with information packages for lending banks if any;

· Preparation of financial information/analysis as required;

· Correspondence;

· General administrative tasks.

Assistance year end reporting process / audit process

· Review of annual accounts;

· Assist with consolidation process;

· Liaise with external auditors;

· Preparation of ad hoc reports / reconciliations.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

· Degree in accounting (ACCA or similar);

· 4+ years' relevant professional experience;

· Background within the Real Estate industry is a plus however, not required.

· Fluency in English is a pre-requisite. Other European languages are highly desirable.

· Proficient user of MS Office and accounting software (MS Dynamics preferable);

· Excellent organisation skills;

· Team player.
