This leading real estate business manages a diverse portfolio of assets, from unique residential properties to iconic retail spaces you will be working across many impressive portfolios and properties.
Our client is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team where your day-to-day will be to manage cash flows and process financial transactions for service charges, rent receivables and deposits. This role is working 9 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday, and offers 2 days working from home.
The chances of this role becoming a permanent position are quite strong, but it ultimately depends on your performance in the job.
Duties:
Process receipts related to rental and service charge income, including invoicing and cash transfer requests.
Investigate and resolve unreconciled transactions, ensuring timely processing and clearing of the cash suspense account.
Create and manage rent deposit virtual accounts while maintaining accurate transaction records.
Prepare cash reports and promptly address any discrepancies or tenant inquiries regarding cash transactions.
Collaborate with stakeholders in Finance and Property Management to support financial operations.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation related to cash transactions.
Ensure internal controls are in place and maintain up-to-date process documentation and policies.
Identify and escalate cash-related risks and opportunities for process improvements.
Manage cash accounts and monitor cash flow for financial planning.
Resolve cash-related disputes professionally and efficiently.
