Town Planner (any level) - Infrastructure / Renewables

I am working closely with a well-established national consultancy with offices across the UK, looking for a Town Planner with infrastructure and / or renewables experience to join at multiple levels (open to any location).

​

This close-knit team have delivered on flagship projects across the country with a reputation for maintaining standards of excellence.

​

Projects include solar, BESS, on and offshore wind, EV, hydrogen energy, carbon, nuclear, ESG carbon and a historic track record across the residential and commercial sector.

​

You will be involved in (among other responsibilities):

• Working on infrastructure projects, assisting in delegating and starting to take on leadership role

• Continuing to maintain relationships with clients in providing accurate advice and communicating effectively

• Dealing with pre-apps and manage planning applications through the development process

• Communicating and negotiating with clients, stakeholders and local regularly

• Business development and working up your own client base, or bringing your own

• Attending meetings for Planning Committee, Consultations and similar events in representation of both the Company and clients through the planning process

• Mentoring and helping to manage junior team members

You will ideally:

• Have at least three years within planning - ideally in consultancy

• Strong development management skillset and expertise

• Be MRTPI or equivalent

• Be a strong communicator with excellent written work
