Monday - Thursday: 9am - 5pm

Friday: 9am - 1:30pm

Cobalt is working with a Property Management company who are seeking for a Service Charge Accountant to join them.

They have seen successful growth across all areas of the business over the past couple of years and with a growing team and portfolio - this has put them in a competitive position across the market, making them a credible business to be joining right now.

Duties:

• Preparing annual Service Charge account reconciliations

• Reconciling client bank account income and expenditure

• Raising quarterly Service charges and Ground Rent charges

• Creating Service Charge budgets in accordance with the Lease

• Coordinating with external accountants for Service Charge accounts

• Preparing biannual Ground Rent statements for the client portfolio

• Compiling Quarterly Reports

• Reconciling reserve funds

Person Specification:

• Prior experience of working within a similar function within Property/Real estate

• Property management system such as Qube, TRAMPS, Horizon, Yardi etc

• Experience working on either a commercial or residential portfolio

• Experience speaking with landlords and tenants, and dealing with their queries

• Strong attention to detail and being self-motivated

• Committed and organised

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages

• Ability to work to deadlines
