M&E DESIGN MANAGER

GREATER LONDON (NORTH)

£75K - £85K (DOE)

My client, a leading commercial build contractor, is seeking an experienced M&E Design Manager with a solid background in M&E design management. You will be involved in the pre-construction and production, from concept through to completion, on 2 commercial build projects based in Greater London (valued at c. £90K).

You will be working for a leading construction & development organisation, delivering high-quality projects across public and commercial private sectors.

Your day-to-day duties will consist of;

• Working closely with the preconstruction team, managing the design process

• Overseeing the coordination of the M&E design activities throughout project lifecycle

• Collaborating with the on-site team, architects, engineers and stakeholders

​

To successfully apply for this role, you will need to have;

• Experience in new build commercial schemes (preferably within education)

• RIBA experience & understanding of BIM

• Demonstrated ability in M&E design management from early design stages

• Motivated with strong problem-solving skills

• Familiarity with preconstruction and on-site production teams from an M&E perspective

• Proficient project management skills

• Strong organisational skills and IT proficiency

• Commercial awareness

• Prior experience with a Tier 1 design and build contractor
