I'm seeking for a Team Lead to oversee the Client Accounting & Service Charge finance functions for a prestigious Real Estate client, you'll be managing an iconic London based portfolio. This leadership role will entail supervising a small team. It presents a significant career opportunity, as it holds a pivotal position in maintaining the financial integrity of this esteemed portfolio.
The team you will be leading is split into two halves, Client Accounting handles income streams and finances, requiring weekly on-site presence. The Service Charge team, managing expenses and budgets, operates on-site and may visit Head Office as necessary.
Duties:
Establish clear objectives and manage performance accordingly, conduct regular one-on-one meetings and appraisals, promote equal opportunities and support career development for all team members.
Supervise the business support finance department, establishing objectives and devising strategies to achieve them effectively.
Actively participate in the Senior Leadership Team, providing insightful reports and data analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Serve as the primary liaison for both the Client and the business concerning service charge and on-site financial matters.
Contribute to the formulation of short-term and long-term business plans.
Oversee all expenditure reporting, including service charge, reserves, and project accounting.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting to the Client and the business, adhering to all SLAs and KPIs.
Review and refine processes and procedures to enhance efficiency.
Manage monthly/quarterly reporting requirements.
Coordinate with auditors regarding company and service charge accounts.
