Cobalt Recruitment are working with a fantastic NHS Trust in Cheshire to recruit interim Capital Project Managers and Senior Capital Project Managers, offering an hourly rate from £27.00 - £32.00 per hour LTD rate (inside IR35, via Umbrella Company) depending on experience, for an initial 6 month contract.
Our client is looking for someone who will take a hands-on approach to:
Day to day management of multiple projects from coordination, supervision to delivery and completion.
Establish and communicate project feasibility, timescale, and budget information to clients.
Establish design brief/project specifications/scope of works.
Request, collate and distribute all contractual documentation required.
Administration and oversight of project tender and contractor selection process.
Administration and oversight of CDM Regulations, Planning and Building Regulations - and related compliance requirements.
Check that progress is maintained according to the building programme.
Completion of the works. Ensure that schedules of defects after handover are maintained, and their rectification before the expiration of any defect's liability period.
Ensure best practices and quality are being maintained.
Request, collate and distribute O&M Manuals.
Undertake sub-contractor performance assessments throughout and at the end of the contract period.
Flexibility to manage projects outside of normal works hours if required - where work may need to be undertaken to a schedule.
Continuously monitor work on site in accordance with Health & Safety Procedures, Contractor's Method Statements and the Construction Health and Safety Plan.
Maintain and issue weekly progress reports for all projects to each client.
Responsible for providing support with the day to day running of contracts including organising daily reactive or corrective maintenance.
Drive down overdue jobs.
Ensuring all planned maintenance is compliant and within the correct scheduled dates.
Administration responsibilities to keep all maintenance sheets up to date and carry out audits, KPI & monthly reports.
Being the first point of contact to key internal and external stakeholders.
Attend daily business meetings and deal with all actions.
Submit quotes and manage contractors during approved work.
Liaising with external stakeholders including engineers, consultants, suppliers, and contractors.
You will need to be:
Degree educated or equivalent in Building/Construction.
Experienced in managing complex estates projects within a healthcare environment.
Able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of CDM.
