Cobalt is partnering with a prestigious property developer, as they seek to hire a Building Manager for a vibrant commercial asset in London's West End.
This commercial development has overseen significant investment to ensure it remains a grade-A office space for its tenants, with our client focused on the long-term strategic development of the asset in this aim.
You'll form a crucial part of the on-site team, overseeing the top-tier total facilities delivery across the estate, working for a best-in-class brand that boasts an enviable track record in developing their staff, and a market-leading benefits package.
Key responsibilities will include:
Lead operational matters for the building, maintaining the highest standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and ensure safe, secure property maintenance.
Review and enhance operational processes, ensuring compliance and best practices.
Setting and managing service charge budgets.
Ensuring the effective maintenance of the physical assets including plant room equipment and common areas.
Regularly visit and build strong relationships with occupiers, resolving service issues promptly.
Overseeing events on-site where required
Ensuring full H&S compliance with UK legislation;
Managing the work of external contractors across hard and soft services.
As a successful applicant, you'll be able to demonstrate a track record in managing building(s) from the landlord's perspective, managing multiple tenants and common areas, with the ability to manage a service charge budget.
An IOSH is essential for this role whilst client side experience would be desirable.
