Cobalt is looking for an Assistant Building Manager on an initial fixed-term-contract basis.
You'll be joining the team at a Grade A multi-let commercial office development in the heart of Central London, working for an award-winning SME Real Estate brand that prides themselves on their well-earned position at the forefront of the industry.
You'll form a key part of the on-site building management team, delivering a top-tier total FM service for a wide variety of commercial tenants. From maintenance to events management, compliance to communications, this is a role that will give you further exposure to all things facilities and provide the perfect platform for your progression to building management.
Key responsibilities will include:
Assist with day-to-day operations, deputising for the Building Manager in their absence.
Act as onsite representative for the Landlord, ensuring regulatory compliance and service provision to tenants.
Liaise with Front of House on event management and oversee cleaning contractors for daily and periodic tasks.
Log reactive jobs using the helpdesk system and manage the helpdesk once implemented.
Maintain the Purchase Order tracker, raise POs, and handle site services contracts.
Main point of contact for tenants, handling service requests, tenancy changes, and repairs.
Coordinate contractor access, review RAMS, issue work permits, and ensure adherence to site procedures.
Instruct contractors on minor maintenance as directed by the Building or Property Manager.
Manage statutory compliance, complete incident reports, and update H&S records;
Our client is seeking a switched-on individual with a solid base of experience in Facilities, either as a Coordinator or Assistant previously. Being a fixed-term contract you must either be available immediately or short notice. An IOSH is desirable but not essential.
